of defying God.
Numbers 16
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
2 And they ROSE UP ((( BEFORE ))) Moses, WITH certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
3 And they gathered themselves together (((AGAINST))) Moses and (((against))) Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?
4 And WHEN Moses HEARD IT, he fell upon his face:
For Moses was meek...and it tells of it...for the Sons of Korah, were carrier only of the holy things, and carriers of the Ark of the Covenant, and all things has to be wrapped before they could carry it...for they COULD NOT TOUCH IT. But the influence of Satan got the best of them when they saw Aaron touching and the works of Moses, they were FAMOUS and wanted to rule...such as and is the influence of satan, wanting their own way and rule the kingdom of Israel all to themselves...sounds like something very familiar doesn't it? So KORAH SPEAKS THEN, Moses, then speaks AFTER TO THEM directly and warns and I will break it down.
5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the Lord will SHEW WHO ARE HIS, and WHO IS HOLY; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the Lord to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the Lord doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath Separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
So now Korah wants to SEEK THE PRIESTHOOD Also , and rule; To Take away the leadership of whom God appointed directly to AARON and his SONS...
11 For which CAUSE both thou and all thy company are gathered together AGAINST the Lord: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
NOW, Moses is saying and (((why))) are you murmuring against Aaron??? DID NOT God appoint him as he appointed you...like what is wrong with you?...then Moses Calls Dathan and Abiram and they dishonor by disobeying Moses? and they called it a small thing...talking about a stupid and horrible attitude...they are murmuring and falsely accusing Moses of wanting to kill them...and Moses is Highly angry such as Wroth...but he does not recant back...Nah He turns to WHO...THE LORD!
12 And Moses sent TO CALL Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, WE WILL NOT COME UP:
13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
MOSES is angry so mad but not yet Livid...but God was LIVID. It is the most frightful thing when this happens; when you are not on His side, who Is JESUS CHRIST.
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the Lord, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the Lord every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and STOOD IN THE DOOR OF THE TABERNACLE of the congregation WITH Moses and Aaron.
Here they all are standing in the DOOR dealing with the matter; THE DOOR!!! THE DOOR!!! folks THE DOOR!!!...historians do you get it? I am the Door! It is the same...
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation AGAINST them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation.
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING TO DO...Korah takes his fame a form of power by influence not leadership and gathers all of the congregation Against them and GOD...saying I can overthrow Jesus Christ...NAH, Peter and Moses knew this...this right here and it is the same...for Peter walked with Him so did MOSES in the wilderness...this stupid man which is movers and chosen to be so...and not a priest but movers of the tabernacle appointed by God is going to take over and change it all...by the lying influence of Satan...it is impossible to do...UNLESS and there is not one...Acts 5:39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
20 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
Which is saying, I am going to do what I want to do, MY DOOR is RULE not yours...for Korah know the DOOR POST WAS very important as in POWER. This proves it, for HE BOASTED of such contrariness there...
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I HAVE NOT DONE THEM OF MIND OWN MIND.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord HATH NOT sent me.
30 BUT if the Lord MAKE A NEW THING, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with ALL THAT APPERTAIN unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have PROVOKED the Lord.
ALL they had to do was just obey the Lord, but not Korah lead the people and all who followed him, to destruction just like the people who lead them to worship the golden calf...Korah Knew better, but became and CHOSE to become evil and unrepentant and was going to be a dog eat dog to take rule over Moses and Aaron; which had done only good to them...the Sons of Korah were strong men they had to move the tabernacle after it was covered and carry it from place to place, amimal skins, velvet and linen curtains, rods, gold silver wear, the shew bread table, the candle stick, the Ark of the Covenant, the altar which was heavy stones, these men were strong, This was their perfect appointed place, but became bitter and resorted to the dog eat dog mentality...for they wanted to be as Aaron and the priest and Moses...GOD APPOINTED THEM, and Korah said and acts no for they were famous and Korah used his fame with 250 other princes to do his best with Dathan and Abiram. Then as they are NOW all gathered together, in front Moses, Aaron, and the Elders of Israel...INSTANTLY IT BEGAN.
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
The Congregation which was close to them, ran away in a frightful way and in many ways forever petrified of provoking the Lord and they never did...and didn't every Question Moses' or Aaron's authority or even their place again. For God is perfect in ALL THINGS and JUDGMENT. Leaders have to do this and this went on for a week, only because they were evidently in the presence of God, and knew of His presence.
35 And there came out a fire from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
36 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
38 The censers of these sinners AGAINST their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the Lord, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
The hallowed things are a sign unto the LORD of this memorial of His Lividness.
39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
40 To be a MEMORIAL unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the Lord; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the Lord said to him by the hand of Moses.
Here is the great ignorance of the people, the public acts this way TODAY IN THE NEXT VERSE, feel this way and then feel this way and act on it as a body, and don't even consider authority nor their place and the must needs to be done for the protections of the good of this life...
41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord.
42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.
Now the 'public' if you please goes against the LORD thinking they are good and wise and can overcome him. This small body within the Congregation of all of Israel!!! So they provoke God again...this is the most foolish thing one can do...Ai`
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
44 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein FROM OFF the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun.
THE PLAGUE??? is ridding all that are against the LORD and Moses and Aaron...for then they all had to die.
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
The Atonement was for the Good PEOPLE which lived and to put asunder the ones which were against...This was no where near a mutiny...one those that are successful, God agrees, for He promotes and destroys...I Corinthians 1:27~29 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
MOSES watched as Aaron the HIGH PRIEST (who is the HIGH PRIEST NOW??? Jesus CHRIST, see)stood between the dead and the living, a representation of Christ standing between the dead and the living; then by his Ransom raises the Dead such as PETER, understood this as Well as PAUL, after his name was changed, and especially when he was sent to the Gentiles to explain, and I'm sure in one of his sermons he used this for it DOMINANTLY was the WILL of KORAH only which brought on this devastation and made God LIVID, and IF YOU READ even MOSES as well, in verse 15, 'Respect Not thou their offerings' such of repentance and more...NOW back to PETER such is clear...1 Peter 4:1~6 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to THEM THAT ARE DEAD, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. The Holy Ghost resurrects them back to life, by and what Jesus Christ did. The RANSOM for this to be gifted, IT HAD TO BE DONE DUE TO THE WAYS OF HEAVEN, FOR IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN....SEE?
Also this is a reflection of Christ the mediator...which shows 1 Timothy 2:3-6 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH.5 For there is ONE God, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS;
6 Who gave himself a RANSOM for all, to be testified in due time.
and reflects as so...due to verse 18...
Matthew 28:18-And JESUS came and spake unto them, saying, ALLLL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. It is the Same as and showing you of Acts 1:8, then 7...for it reads better to me but is the same....then their question comes from Israel, and I just learned Paul Wrote Acts ....(due to your ponder Apollos never wrote and was not honored but only to be mention but not to write, though he was another High Priest)
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth .
Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Hence their question is reflective of Jerusalem.
Acts 1:6When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
See it is the same of the Matthew 28:19 Because it only says the NAME one time....um, crazy as it is I just saw it that way...um...Hence Peter and APOSTLE laughed when he read this, after a little bit of PROVING it...and say IT WILL STAND...and the fact Paul asked God then he was at PEACE. He read Matthew after he wrote Acts. Matthew knew and Jesus Christ said it because for Matthew dealt with the Pharisees all the time and it had to be put there, but Matthew ONLY BAPTIZED in JESUS CHRIST: and Paul knew it is ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
This v39 is the same who receive the promise as Acts 1:8...The sons of Korah had the Holy Ghost and rebelled in His Presence...nothing like Isaiah 14, just the will of Korah nothing more, and took down PRINCES that were famous. They thought their fame was more powerful than God is the leaven of Korah. The ones left after such an Action of an PROVING LIVID God, ignorant people provoked him further: in one day 14,700 were slain because their god became Korah.
49 Now they that died in the plague were FOURTEEN THOUSAND AND SEVEN HUNDRED, ((( beside ))) them that died about the MATTER of Korah.
50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.
Now the memorial has yet never died due to many a ponder, but mainly you...do you see the Braid with LIFE now who is THE MEDIATOR, and is OMNIPRESENT...see it, in a form of natural but spiritual representation is Omnipresent, and Jesus Christ came walked among mainly the dead spiritually, and some were in the living. Can you imagine what HE saw In HIS HEAD, as a Man, and what His Father made him overcome as a man? He got really frustrated, sometimes all night long...I can see it and feel it...then he would go to sleep. But He had every thing in his mind when He slept, for his bodies rest, but He NEVER SLEPT...that would make Psalm 121 a lie...and He cannot lie...like the BOAT...He was out watching them and their fright...Think about it.
My eyes were opened for I was led to search this out...but a friend spoke about it...I know now...
